It’s challenging to succeed in the publishing business as a publisher and writer. The majority of us have stories to share, and we almost certainly write them down. But for those without experience, finding the ideal publisher is a nightmare. Many aspiring authors experience anxiety and sadness after submitting their work, waiting weeks or even months for a response. At this juncture, Book Launchers, the Non-Fiction Writers’ one-stop destination for writing, publishing, and promoting a book, came into existence.
Critically acclaimed Best Selling Author Julie Broad, with incredible books in her own right, sown the innovative seed of Book Launchers in the year 2017. An International Book Award Winner, and recipient of the Beverly Hills Book Award for Best Sales book, Julie Broad is a successful entrepreneur, recognized real estate investor and a popular speaker and workshop trainer. Since 2009, she’s been speaking on stages across Canada and the US, sharing her strategies to write a book that builds your business and has more impact and influence on the brand.
A Glimpse of Book Launchers and Its Key offerings
Book Launchers is a full-service provider of self-publishing services with a marketing-focused approach. Their primary focus is on the monthly membership, where the team writes, publishes, and promotes the writer’s book. They offer classes to teach authors how to write a book or how to sell it.
“We discuss marketing strategy and author positioning from your first day working with us because we’ll be there for as long as you want our support to help you sell your book after launch. The possibility that you’ll wish to continue working with us or collaborate with us on your next books increases with your level of success”, The leading lady further apprised.
Key Factors that Make Book Launchers the “Blue Diamond of Publishing Space”
Book Launchers helps experts and entrepreneurs write, publish, and promote a book that is set up to sell. Because their service incorporates marketing at every step of the procedure, they do not offer packages. Clients hire them for the complete experience rather than just editing, so the author gets a committed team who supports him and his book from the beginning and sees it through to media appearances, speaking engagements, bookshop listings and events, podcast interviews, and much more. The Book Launchers team is focused on developing a space and a product where they can have a lot of celebrations because they benefit when an author succeeds.
The Tale of Inception – How it all Started?
Julie Broad wrote a book titled More Than Cashflow in 2013 after investing in real estate in Canada for 12 years and operating a real estate training and education business for five years. Wiley Canada, with whom she had discussions about a book deal, ultimately declined to publish it, claiming that her platform was insufficient for book sales.
Julie Broad believed that this was a book that people really needed to read after going against the advice of get-rich-quick real estate gurus and counselling other investors through their own drama. She made the decision to self-publish, but she also wanted to do it as well as or better than Wiley or any other publisher. She, therefore, actively engaged in book marketing and publication. In the end, More than Cashflow topped the Canadian Amazon charts, surpassing both Dan Brown and the Game of Thrones series. It was in the Top 100 print books for more than 45 days!
Julie got quite excited about book publishing, and self-publishing in particular, because of her book’s success and how it helped her investment firm and training and education company expand in the years that followed. Wiley didn’t think there was a market for More than Cashflow, but Julie Broad knew there was. There are many books like hers that never get published, but they could have a massive impact on the lives of others and the life of the author.
The Inspiration behind the Initiation
The challenge with self-publishing and doing it at a publisher’s level is that it’s a huge endeavour where you need a lot of professionals along the way. Being the general contractor of a significant project is not something you have time for if you are a busy professional, speaker, or business owner. You need a full service firm that can handle everything if you want to do it right and keep all of your rights, royalties, and final creative control. Even more crucially, you require a company that, you need a company that will understand how to market and position the book, so you are set up with the right book for your goals!

Hurdles on the Way
When Julie started, everything seemed like a setback as well as an opportunity. She had to immediately recruit someone with publishing experience because she had never actually helped anyone with a book from beginning to end. And Julie planned to accomplish it in a foreign nation where she had no name recognition or brand. Before she could actually offer her service to any paying clients to demonstrate the viability of her idea, the biggest hurdle was obtaining an Investor Visa to work in the US, which required creating a thorough business plan and investing a sizable sum of money in an unestablished company in order to convince US Immigration she was serious enough to run the business in the US.
It’s been a really wonderful and welcoming place to have a startup business. Still, it’s been challenging learning all the state regulations and handling the issues that arise when you’re not a permanent resident in the US, only a Visa holder.
Dealing with the COVID Crisis
Honestly, the economic uncertainty at the end of 2022 seems to have a more significant impact on our business and the world surrounding our authors than the pandemic because people had financial aid during the pandemic. Julie Broad is aware of how emotionally worn out everyone is from the stress and uncertainty of the last three years. All things considered, she and her team found the pandemic to be mostly a mental struggle. Despite the lack of in-person activities, they had to maintain their spirits and find a way to feel connected. They had to find a means to replace the marketing that was mostly fueled by in-person conference sponsorships and speaking, keep their spirits up, and find a way to feel connected despite the lack of in-person relationships.
The Road Ahead – What’s Next?
“In 2021, I launched a book, Self-Publish and Succeed, and in 2023 I’ll be launching a follow-up book to support authors who need to dive deep into all things book marketing strategy and tactics! Additionally, we will keep growing our network to help our authors find additional prospects for big sales, speaking engagements, and exposure. We are strengthening our connections with libraries in order to list authors and offer programming. In response to a question about her future goals, the inspirational leader stated, “And, we are going to continue to build resources and material (like our strong YouTube channel – BookLaunchers.tv) to encourage non-fiction authors everywhere.”
Words of Wisdom by Julie Broad, Founder of Book Launchers
The missing piece is always action – you won’t know if what you’re creating is good until you ask for credit cards and start getting feedback, so the faster you can do that, the faster you can learn and create success.
