Despite being turned down by the infamous Mr. Wonderful from Shark Tank, Rollerblade founder Scott Olson refused to give up on his newest product – SkyRide Technology (SRT). SRT has since become an international phenomenon and is now available as a thrilling attraction onboard Carnival Cruise Lines’ Vista, Horizon, and Panorama ships; with over 500 thousand customers having experienced it first-hand. Celebrities such as Shaquille O’Neal , Carrie Underwood and Mark Cuban have all expressed their love for SkyRide. Cuban even wants to install one in his own backyard!
SkyRide Technology (SRT) has been making waves in the cruise industry, with record-breaking awards from Cruise Hive over 4 years and nearly 600k skyriders soaring around 103.350 miles without any safety incidents to date. As SkyRide continues its international expansion plans, its exclusive contract with Carnival is ending. Justin Ratzloff of SRT will continue to be there every step of the way providing technical maintenance and training support for the 3 Carnival ships.
With a growing roster of possible partners including major cruise lines, ski resorts, parks — plus countless sky riders zooming across land & sea — it looks like this tech company is just getting started!
