New Delhi, 19th Feb 2025 – Nawgati, a home-grown fuel aggregator startup, has been awarded the prestigious MeitY Scale-Up Grant under MeitY Startup Hub (MSH) by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India. This fund is exclusively granted to MeitY TIDE 2.0 holders, a distinction Nawgati earned during its incubation with the PIED Society at BITS Pilani. The grant will play a pivotal role in scaling the company’s proprietary hardware technology that enables Aaveg, its congestion and compliance monitoring system.
The MeitY TIDE 2.0 scheme initially provided crucial support to Nawgati during its ideation stage while the co-founders were still in college at BITS Pilani. The newly awarded Scale-Up Grant marks the next milestone in Nawgati’s journey, enabling the company to accelerate its expansion and enhance its innovative solutions.
“The MSH Scale-Up Grant is a significant boost for Nawgati as we work towards refining and scaling our hardware for congestion and compliance monitoring,” said Vaibhav Kaushik, CEO and Co-founder of Nawgati. “MeitY Startup Hub has been instrumental in our growth since we began our journey, offering not only financial assistance but also valuable exposure through national-level events across India.”
With the rapid expansion of fueling networks in India, ensuring efficiency and reducing congestion has become even more essential. Nawgati’s Aaveg system leverages advanced hardware and software integrations to optimize fuel station management, minimizing wait and serve times and enhancing compliance tracking. The grant will enable Nawgati to refine its hardware capabilities and implement upgrades that can support its ambitious expansion plans across multiple geographies.
Beyond financial support, MeitY Startup Hub has consistently provided Nawgati with strategic exposure and networking opportunities at national-level events, fostering collaborations with key stakeholders in the industry. These engagements have helped Nawgati gain insights into industry challenges and adapt its solutions to meet evolving market demands.
Looking ahead, Nawgati aims to utilize this grant to strengthen its presence in the fueling infrastructure space, ensuring a seamless experience for both businesses and consumers. The company remains committed to innovation and is poised to make significant contributions toward transforming India’s fueling ecosystem.
