An exemplary personality, Neha Mathur is the Chief Business Officer and Co-Founder of Personifwy. With two decades of experience in various roles in leading companies, she decided to en route to a new path in the business world and become a founder.
Early Life
Coming from an Army family where every 2.5 years her father got posted at a new location, Neha’s early life was a unique experience. She had to adapt to her new surroundings, make new friends, and go to a new school every time. She completed her schooling at 13 different schools in 15 years of her academics. At a very early age, she understood, that change is forever constant.
Alongside embracing the change in her, she constantly was introduced to new cultures, people, and geographies. She graduated to become a hotelier. Starting her career with Marriott International.
With her passion for service, she grew at a rapid pace in the industry and was amongst the youngest general managers in the country at the age of 28. With her performance and exceptional skillset, she moved up to handle country-wide roles as Corporate Head of Rooms for Sterling Holidays. Being wired for change, she then asked herself “what next.”
That’s when she decided to upgrade her skills and take a new path. She did her Executive Program in Business Excellence from the Haas School of Business, UC Berkeley in California. As part of their capstone project, Neha and her co-founder created the business plan for Personifwy. They won the award for the most innovative idea and that’s how it came to life and laid its foundation.

Neha fondly states the motivation behind starting her organization. She was keen to understand the pain point of employees and innovate a solution to resolve this problem. Also, by incorporating AI technology, she blended people, organizations, and leaders in the best possible way.
“As a people leader, one of the primary concerns I had was not being able to understand people’s perspectives in real-time, which meant I never got to know why candidates didn’t join or employees quit.
Should a leader understand barriers in their system in real-time, many of these concerns could be managed. Therefore while doing my Executive Program in Business Excellence from the Haas School of Business me and my co-founder, started working on developing a conversational AI technology that would enable organizations to engage people effectively while helping leaders draw a perfect people strategy.”

“Once men understand that your abilities are far beyond you being a woman, the respect automatically shows,” concludes Neha.

Striking the Work-Life Balance
Having spent two decades in operations, where work took precedence in Neha’s life, she took a conscious decision to give her family and mental and physical well-being precedence over work.
The day-to-day hectic schedule takes a toll on many parts of an individual’s life. Neha consciously blocks her calendar to focus on herself and her family life. Spending some me time is an excellent way to recharge and refresh your autopilot life.
Her day begins with dropping off her kid at school, then heading to the gym, cooking her meals, beginning her day at work, and ending with a walk by herself to resync her thoughts for the day.
