Jenny Junkeer, an incredible and inspiring female leader, is renowned for transforming and optimizing businesses with her scientifically crafted protocols. In the key position of CEO at Intent Scale, Jenny is dedicated to making a positive impact and empowering others to chase their dreams. She has been the architect of the overall growth and success of numerous companies. Her research-backed ideas and insights have empowered various leaders to overcome global challenges.

Jenny is a well-known scaling agent with a strong leadership style, exuding confidence, passion, and excellent guidance. She possesses an unmatched skill level in scaling organizations due to her transformative leadership style and diversified background in finance, tax, consulting, entrepreneurship, and academics. Jenny graduated with an honors degree in commerce from the esteemed Monash University.

Besides, Jenny is a keynote speaker, well-known for inspiring audiences with her game-changing insights on scaling and decision-making.

The Genesis of Intent

The creative seed of Intent was sown as a consulting firm supporting clients to capture and utilize financial data for informed decision-making. As the company built stronger relations with their clients, they confided in the team more and sought help in all aspects of their businesses, including culture, procedures, technology, and governance. Clients wanted to achieve specific goals, like sales, profits, high-achieving employees, and general corporate growth, but they felt like they were always up against obstacles.

The leading team realized they had to develop permanent solutions to these challenges for clients. They went far and looked at what the top businesses were doing everywhere they went, and they soon discovered that the successful ones had one thing in common. They were adaptive to change, they embraced innovation, and they operated in an optimized way.

The Intent team believed in these values so much that they adopted them and became active change-makers. Since they believe that this is the most effective way to scale to success, they set out on a mission to help the clients become one as well.

Evolving in the Ever-Changing Business Landscape

The best approach to remaining adaptable to the ever-evolving corporate landscape is to embrace it. Nothing is that hard to learn if someone is immersed in trying to learn it. This is the easy part. The team at Intent believes the people aspect is the hardest part of navigating transformations and innovation. This is why their change management framework has become so vital. The transformation journey is easier, and the results are more successful when they can collaborate closely with all of their clients’ stakeholders and share the knowledge via their implementation with them, employing efficient change management approaches in the process.

Addressing the Cultural and Contextual Differences

Under Jenny’s leadership, the entire Intent team possesses a rich cultural diversity. They are fortunate enough to resonate with varying cultural norms easily because that’s how they all grew up. However, this doesn’t negate the constant need for learning and adaptation. When engaging with new clients, whether within familiar territories or unexplored ones, Jenny and her team prioritize honoring what they call the ‘Company’s Personality.’ This is a reference to the appreciation that every business has a unique collection of individuals with varying personalities, attitudes, and behaviors, ultimately creating the organization’s culture. It remains paramount for Intent to cultivate trust with its clients by demonstrating understanding and acceptance of their preferred business practices. However, Intent often finds itself required to pivot the organizational culture towards a more performance-oriented paradigm that is conducive to scalability. This shift focuses on enhancing individuals’ performance attributes and perspectives to bolster competitiveness within their respective contexts and regions.

A Notable Success Story: A Case Study

One of Intent Scale’s clients is a mattress-in-a-box manufacturer, which was a relatively brand-new idea when they launched (there were only about 1–2 other competitors in the space globally at the time). The company’s responsibility with them was to correctly establish them as a start-up, ready for quick growth. They made significant contributions in the areas of financial analytics, talent management, strategy, operational assistance, and international expansion. The customer had a fantastic beginning; however, additional competition hit. This new outside force puts a lot of pressure on companies to work hard at creating a top-notch marketing machine for themselves. They had everything they needed to scale enormously from this point on. Like most e-commerce firms, they benefited from the COVID lockdowns. They are still scaling after achieving tremendous success.

Battling the Challenges Along the Way

The visionary lady, Jenny, has always focused on getting the job done and prides herself on receiving that feedback while working for others. When she became the leader of her organization, she carried this mentality through. She took this mindset with her as she rose to the position of leader inside her organization. She didn’t like sitting around and discussing things around the water cooler. She had high expectations of herself and, therefore, equally of her colleagues.

One of Jenny’s friends suggested she read the Vulnerability book by Brene Brown. After reading this book, she had a completely different understanding of herself and how she treated people. Jenny was never unprofessional, but she realised she had a low EQ at the time. She was a different sort of leader as soon as she decided to change that and lead from a position of empathy and vulnerability. It meant a lot to her that a colleague at the time, who had worked with her before this crucial transition and afterward, had recognized her personal leadership development.

The Key Lessons Jenny Learned

The power of networking is the key lesson Jenny learned later in life. Fortunately, she was blessed to have a large group of friends from university, so her social life was always full of beautiful people. When she embarked on her entrepreneurial journey, she would see her friends and her clients, with whom she also had great relationships. with. She had no time or thought process to meet new people in a business context. She felt fulfilled. However, as Jenny wanted to scale her own business, it was only then that it dawned on her the unintended consequence of her previous choices to only socialize with people she knew. Business is about community and people, not just solutions; Jenny didn’t know earlier and did not build that initially. She wishes she had known this one thing when she started her journey.

Planning Ahead: An Adventure in Innovation

Their vision of “making ambition a reality” is very important to Jenny and her team; they are working to make their methods more accessible to every business globally. As a result, they are changing and shaping themselves as a company to ensure that every business that wants to have their scaling ambition realized gets the support they need. They want to transform the management consulting landscape, at the very least in their sphere of influence. The world is changing, and they are hell-bent on being one of the organizations changing it for the better.
