Diana is dedicated to educating herself and representing her gender within the technology business to empower women and shape future trends. She is driven to make sure that people don’t feel excluded and that they feel safe finding their place in the world.
Diana has been with Teleperformance for 12 years and has witnessed it not just expand greatly but also advance technologically. As she frequently points out, innovation is a crucial component. Teleperformance has never shied away from a difficult task.
Diana started working as a telephonic agent at Teleperformance, which she did when she was ready to graduate from college. This inspirational woman then made her way to recruitment and, eventually, procurement for Mexico, where she rose through the ranks to now work for 90 countries where Teleperformance has presence. There have been 12 incredible years.

Though Diana does not venture a scenario for the next five years, she sincerely hopes that all efforts are directed toward sustainability. Sustainable procurement has the potential to improve things, for our world and for the entire way we se hardware purchases.
Overcoming the Hurdles Along the Way
Success seems to be something that changes according to everyone’s own definition. For Diana, success is not linear; it is a bumpy ride, and it is also a cycle; what might have felt like success a year ago could feel like a bad decision now. She does believe that the obstacle to enjoying triumphs sometimes might be ourselves and our constructed ideas to be perfect, as we are not perfect, all we can aim to be is good leaders, aware of our flaws and our team’s.
“Just as our perception of success has changed as a result of what we can see on social media and compare to our own lives, so too has our perception of reality. Today, I believe that maintaining my composure during a challenging day and doing my best to lead effectively is both a true triumph and a daily struggle. Even if not every day will be pleasant, this is how we grow, this is how we learn. The leading woman continues.

Diana believes in teamwork! She asserts that while precise guidelines and quantifiable goals are essential for effective teamwork, the human element must take precedence. Recognizing that everyone has a rich past is a valuable exercise in empathy, one that may not be simple but that improves us as individuals and, consequently, as leaders and the world desperately needs leaders, not bosses.

Helpful Sources: LinkedIn is a great asset to have. Social media is a powerful tool for communication and information sharing. I frequently read the books and articles that my colleagues recommend, and I also have a few favorite authors about marketplaces. However, what really matters is that we make sure we know what information will enable us to secure the best partnerships. Without our own opinions and knowledge, reading for the sake of reading won’t take us very far.
The Impact of COVID: The world changed in 2020, and it has continued to evolve. The effects of COVID-19 strengthened us and significantly improved our knowledge of remote working, VDI technology, and logistics.
Significance of R&D: Our processes and services are always evolving, so I believe R&D is a major key factor when discussing the growth that Teleperformance has had over the last few years. Innovation might be the new name of the game.
A Prosperous Roadmap
“I am enjoying the ride, which is important for me”, Diana said. It was a challenging beginning for her because she started her global role just as COVID hit, but it really taught her a lot. Since Diana is an expert in the tech sector and procurement, she would like to continue developing this community. She wants to continue working on that because the atmosphere has never been this open and honest about vulnerability and empathy. Additionally, she enjoys being impressed by innovation and technology, so she plans to continue writing about those topics.
Message for the Readers
I sometimes find myself anxious about the future, so I do a little exercise and remember my 18-year-old self and my 25-year-old self. All those versions of me were reluctant to believe that things would work out; they wanted them to, but it was also frightening. However, if right now I could go back in time, I would tell them that it does all, in fact, work out, so now I just think that if I believe in what I am doing, I will be fine. That is the best and simplest advice I can give: believe in yourself; you’ve got this.
