The Journey
After receiving his Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology in 1993, Dr. Jatin Mehta established MetaSense. His goal was to create a people-centric staffing company founded on perfection, precision, and efficiency in service, with employee well-being as its driving force. MetaSense has become a service-driven company determined to provide mission-critical staffing solutions to its clients seeking to fill positions in healthcare. As its work in healthcare staffing grew, MetaSense soon found a place in Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Business Program and the Inc. 5000.
Dr. Mehta realized the power of SEO and digital marketing helped him grow his staffing company. He concluded that what his team implemented to help MetaSense staffing grow organically could also help other small companies grow their business and brand. This realization eventually led to the development of MetaSense Marketing and the creation of the patented iMetaDexTM. An autonomous tool that would revolutionize SEO and help other small businesses compete against large organizations.

COVID Crisis created acute shortage of clinical and staff to work at various clinical locations and technology staff to manage technologies to facilitate new work environment. Companies were frantically searching online on Google for available resources. iMetaDexTM placed MetaSense staffing on first page of Google for multiple keywords, in many cases dominating the entire first page of Google with ONLY MetaSense staffing. This brought significant online traffic to our website. Businesses invest a large amount of money to appear in the top results of various search engines. So, Dr. Mehta and his team developed MetaSense Marketing and patented a technology to help small businesses stay competitive with SEO results.
When Employee Well-Being is a Priority
As a business leader, Dr. Mehta realizes that every worker is first a happy, healthy, and wealthy human, then an employee. An overworked, underpaid, unappreciated employee can rarely deliver his/her best performance.
Dr. Mehta says, “As a Talent Management company, the product you supply is a human being. And when you have healthcare professionals delivering urgent and emergency care in uncertain and chaotic times, employee well-being is even more important.”
He believes the pandemic has taught the world to look at healthcare professionals with respect and gratitude. However, no amount of respect and gratitude can compensate for the extreme fatigue caused by unforeseen work conditions and traumatic impacts on their minds and bodies.
“My wife is an anesthesiologist at a renowned hospital in New Jersey. I KNOW first hands what goes on in the hearts and minds of a doctor when a major event like COVID-19 strikes. When we began placing clinicians during 2020 COVID crisis, we had our staff’s wellbeing in our focus. We knew we were not just placing highly skilled workers; we were placing front line workers that would be responsible for saving lives. Dr. Mehta is committed to continued learning. He likes to surround himself with the brightest and most driven professionals. He also understands that the team around him makes much of his work possible, and he never wants to take people around him for granted. Irrespective of business or community matters, Dr. Mehta attends all meetings and proceedings. Being able to learn, listen, and volunteer has led to his incredible spiritual, personal and professional growth.
