The Early Journey

Kelly emigrated to the United States of America when she was fresh out of Uni. After graduating from Law School, she got an excellent opportunity to work for a big ‘Fortune 500’ International Law Firm. She learned how to practice law from some of the brilliant legal minds and she brought that big law firm experience to her small business clients. Her clients get the best of both worlds, big law strategy at reasonable flat rates. No surprises.

Kelly is a go-getter, a leader, and an innovator of her dreams and choices. Hence, she decided to leave the security of “big business” and “big industry.” She knew it was time to take her path and lead it her way. Soon, she started Bagla Law Firm, APC in 2009, to finally fulfil her childhood dream.

Kelly knows she was born to be an attorney. She always wanted to be an Attorney and now that she is one, she couldn’t imagine doing anything else. The truth is that I love practicing law and I get to live my passion every day. From as early as far back as I can remember, I have always wanted to be an Attorney where I could make a difference and help as many entrepreneurs live their passion and make their dreams into the reality of becoming their own boss.

When asked what aspect of being a lawyer interests you the most, Kelly said “Being a superhero.” She knows it sounds cliché but she loves it.

She loves when she gets to see what she is doing all day every day making a real-life difference. Sometimes it’s a three-month developed relationship of no services rendered but plans to provide services as acting executor of a Living Trust to ensure wishes of burial are ensured to be respected. Every day is different, challenging yet exciting. This whole process of dealing with a new problem and finding a feasible solution is what Kelly live for. The real-life representation of when all of the hard work pays off and provides a service that can’t be found elsewhere is what makes it worth it.

Kelly loves to read. She says all successful people ready or listens to 60 to 80 books a year. She is close to 70 books a year. She enjoys biographies of great leaders. More recently, she has been so bloody busy with this luminary lifestyle that the opportunity to just sit and dive into a good “non-legal” book has eluded her these past few years. However, her favorite book of all time must be ‘A Birth Of A Brand’ by Brian Smith the founder of Ugg Boots. She highly recommends it for anyone considering going into business.
